Doug Kuntz
Carrier Access Manager
Doug Kuntz began his career with Nex-Tech on February 3, 1997, during one of the nation’s earliest community-wide fiber-to-the-home deployments. With nearly three decades of experience, Doug is a recognized road warrior, traveling coast to coast to promote Nex-Tech’s 24×7 NOC Monitoring, CALEA Trusted Third Party Services, Cordell Environmental Monitoring Solutions, Wholesale Fiber Transport, and Carrier Marketing services.
Doug’s deep industry knowledge and relationship-driven approach have helped service providers across the U.S. strengthen their networks and support strategies. His passion lies in connecting rural America and delivering trusted, scalable solutions that empower broadband providers of all sizes.
Outside of work, Doug enjoys RVing with his wife and grandkids, home brewing, and hitting the golf course—though he proudly calls himself a “hack golfer.” He’s been happily married for 38 wonderful years and brings the same commitment and joy to his personal life as he does to every partnership and project.
Austin Gagnon
CCNA, MEF-CECP | Carrier Representative
Austin Gagnon is a Senior Carrier Account Representative at Nex-Tech, bringing over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He started his career as an outside plant technician before spending six years as a Service Assurance Specialist in Nex-Tech’s Network Operations Center. With Cisco CCNA and MEF-CECP certifications, Austin has played a key role in supporting regional fiber networks across six states. Outside of work, he is a proud father of four children under eight and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and family whenever he can.
Devin Grooms
Carrier Sales Engineer
With over 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Wholesale Account Executive Devin Grooms brings the perfect combination of product knowledge and hands-on expertise. Devin began his career with Nex-Tech as an outside plant technician and has recently served customers as a Carrier Sales Engineer. His degrees in Leadership Technology and Communications Technology, along with his MEF- CECP certification, showcase his technical proficiency. Devin specializes in delivering reliable fiber transport solutions, helping customers enhance connectivity and optimize their network through Nex-Tech’s wholesale services.
JB Harding
Carrier Sales Engineer
JB Harding has built a dynamic career at Nex-Tech since joining in 2007 as a Project Coordinator. Over the years, he has held several vital roles including Combination Technician, Communications Technician/SSA, Dispatch Lead, and currently serves as a Carrier Sales Engineer. JB’s extensive background in telecommunications combines hands-on field experience with operational leadership, making him a key contributor to Nex-Tech’s evolving network and service initiatives. JB and his wife have been married for 19 years and are proud parents of three children. In his free time, he enjoys camping, golfing, and outdoor cooking.
Darcie Lumpkin
Carrier Representative
With over 20 years of experience, Darcie’s Nex-Tech career has taken her through a variety of roles – from customer service to service and provisioning, and now, into the world of carrier sales. She’s all about building meaningful connections, creating strong partnerships, and helping clients find the best solutions! Outside of work, you’ll find her making memories with her family, baking cookies, or getting lost in a good book.
